Our story
Diligent Crete is run by two cousins, Tyler Martin and Michael Frymier, who came into it from opposite directions.
Tyler is the concrete — more than a decade in the industry. He runs every job on site — how much the slab needs grinding, whether a crack gets cut out before anything goes down, whether a coat has genuinely cured or merely stopped looking wet. Those calls are made on the slab, by the person running the job, and they decide whether a floor lasts.
Michael is the business. He has spent more than fifteen years running Computer Corner, a service business in this same community — quoting work, scheduling people, honouring warranties, and picking up the phone when something went wrong. That is not concrete experience and it is not pretending to be. It is why your quote turns up when we said it would, your invoice is right, and the warranty has an actual business standing behind it.
Most small contractors are strong at one of those and improvising the other. Splitting them between two people who each already know their half is the reason we started this rather than either of us doing it alone.
We came into it the way a lot of family businesses start. After losing our grandmother, two cousins who had taken very different paths found themselves talking about what they might build together. Diligent Crete is what came out of those conversations.

That judgement is the whole product. Nearly every coating failure traces back to preparation that was rushed or a cure window that was compressed to make a schedule, and both are decisions made on site by whoever is running the job.
Michael Frymier
Owner
Runs the business side — quotes, scheduling, invoicing, warranty.
Michael has spent more than fifteen years running Computer Corner, a service business in the same community this one serves. Fifteen years of quoting work, scheduling technicians, standing behind warranties, and answering the phone when something went wrong.
None of that is concrete experience, and it is not meant to be. It is why your quote arrives when we said it would, your invoice is right, and there is a written warranty with a real business behind it.
Where the name comes from
Diligent is the whole business plan. Concrete coatings fail for boring reasons — prep that got skipped, a cure window that got compressed, a topcoat rolled a day early because the calendar said so. Diligence is what prevents every one of those, and it's the standard we named the company after.

- Prep is the product. A coating is only as good as the concrete it grips — grind, repair, moisture-test, every time.
- Cure time is non-negotiable. We follow manufacturer cure schedules instead of compressing them. Quality isn't rushed.
- Straight answers. If a coating is wrong for your slab, we'll tell you — even if it costs us the job.
- Show up like pros. On time, tidy, and done when we said we'd be done.
- Warranty in writing. If it peels, we fix it. Period.

In writing, on a certificate, with what it covers and what it does not both spelled out. No coating warranty covers a slab that cracks, and ours says so rather than leaving you to find out.
One thing worth knowing: painting and decorative coating is not a state-certified trade in Florida, so nobody in this line of work holds a contractor licence from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation — not us, and not anyone quoting against us. If a company tells you otherwise, ask them for the licence number and check it. What matters is that the business is real, insured, and stands behind the work.
